   Monday 23rd August .... CASUALS 3 Worthing 1

An excellent all round performance saw us bounce back from going a goal down to beat Worthing 3-1 at the Waterside tonight. The Rebels opened the scoring after 26 minutes when Saunders shot across Philpot. But we appear to be made of tougher stuff this season under Neil Shipperley and drew level on 41 minutes when Danny Buckle(above) home Anthony Gale's inswinging corner. Minutes later Hunter saved well from a close range Charlie Ide effort.

Eight minutes into the second half and we were in front as Charlie Ide hit an unstoppable shot across Hunter in the Worthing goal. Saturday's goalscoring hero Adam Willis found himself one on one with Hunter before rounding him only to see his effort cleared off the line. We finsihed the contest off in the 76th minute when Michael Barima volleyed home. To put us top of the League for 24 hours.
